What stood out to me was the 17 year old girl that did drugs when she was seven. She sold pills to get money for lunch because she was poor she was in and out of jail and detention centers her whole life. She hates her mom because her mom left her behind and didn't care about her.

Is it all the same?- no, you can change at a fast pace or a slow pace
How does healing/change reflect culture?- yes, because different cultures change and heal differently

Octopus Intelligence, camouflage, nocturnal.


it reminds me of myself because I am very intelligent. The octopus is a very intelligent and so am I because i have never had a a grade less then a C. I can also blend in with a crowd like during the year I have been in a mix of upper class-men (mostly in band). The octopus is a nocturnal animal and I have been up all hours of the night before.
